"I Once Had A Girl" is a retrospect love song written in the summer of 1978. Sadly the song was never performed by The Aviators, however it was first released on Garrington T Jones's solo album “Abyssinia” in 2017 and performed live as an acoustic version ever since.

The song has been remixed and the guitar tones have been changed from Fender Twins of the 2017 version to Vox AC30's to match the other three songs of this E.P. Even the subtle changes make a difference in the final mix, as you will hear!

By the way, Mandy was my first true love...... and yes, she left to train and then work with an airline.
